Old Flame 03:08
OLD FLAME Old friend old flame Your move I’m staying Come in I’m here Let’s hide our fear Your voice is hard with edges I don’t remember Standing on guard until it’s safe again Old news old blame Can I explain? You had it all but everything wasn’t good enough Do you ever stop and think about when we both thought it was? They were good days, we would listen to CKUA up late We got caught in the rain old flame Is it true: did I break your heart? Or did it crack- was it the start? Would sorry help? Can this tension be tamed old flame? If it was a game old flame, I didn’t know we were playing I didn’t know we were playing

Summerlove 03:09
SUMMERLOVE Met you on the first day of gym in ‘98 Was an awkward year for most of us We played a game of soccer without a referee I showed off and hoped you’d notice me We talked a little but you talk to everyone I didn’t know if it meant anything But late in June we had a picnic at the park And our hands touched when we were on the swings You’re my favourite person to do nothing with I don’t even care if we go out Waking up is hard when I know school is going to start But I found you just in time for summerlove Let’s catch a movie or make some lemonade Having fun with you is never hard We’ll go to thrift stores and try on all the clothes Or just run through the sprinkler in your yard You’re my favourite person to do nothing with I don’t even care if we go out Waking up is hard when I know school is going to start But I found you just in time for summerlove We’ll look back on this picture and remember who we are When grown up life starts feeling like a maze You’re just as sweet as that gap between your teeth So let’s squeeze everything out of these days You’re my favourite person to do nothing with I don’t even care if we go out Waking up is hard when I know school is going to start But I found you just in time for summerlove

Symmetry 03:26
SYMMETRY Give my symmetry in my poetry There's no choice in my voice so you know it's me Is it okay to you if I say to you that you're part of my heart when I play to you? I will sing the tops of your buildings I will sing the tops of trees And all the high forgotten things I will sing the least of these I will sing my tumbling after and all the humble things A friend of mine who falls behind I will sing his crumbling Give me symmetry in my poetry There's no choice in my voice so you know it's me Is it okay to you if I say to you that you're part of my heart when I play to you? I don't want to see you laughing if you are sick inside I don't want your joy without your tears Your love without your pride I will sing the crumbling concrete and all our humble charms If you crumble from the weight of it would you crumble in my arms? Ba ba ba ba ba ba da da da da Ba ba ba ba ba ba Give me symmetry in my poetry There's no choice in my voice so you know it's me Is it okay to you if I say to you that you're part of my heart when I play to you?

WALK THE HALLS On that first day I held you close so glad that you were mine Eyes much older than they were that didn't change with time We grew up and I stayed close- as much as you'd allow I don't know when it went wrong it doesn't matter now I still catch my breath when I see your picture on the mantel Oh if I could have borne that weight for you when it got too much to handle Sometimes I believe the lie I'm not cut out for this Sleepless nights so many why's- the senseless messages Now when I get the chance to speak I don't know what to say You fed me with your body once now you've never been further away I still catch my breath when I see your picture on the mantel Oh if I could have borne that weight for you when it got too much to handle There were times I thought the worst one day it came true Now I walk the halls you walked so long ago- I love you Now I walk the halls you walked so long ago
