Give my symmetry in my poetry
There's no choice in my voice so you know it's me
Is it okay to you if I say to you
that you're part of my heart when I play to you?
I will sing the tops of your buildings
I will sing the tops of trees
And all the high forgotten things I will sing the least of these
I will sing my tumbling after and all the humble things
A friend of mine who falls behind I will sing his crumbling
Give me symmetry in my poetry
There's no choice in my voice so you know it's me
Is it okay to you if I say to you
that you're part of my heart when I play to you?
I don't want to see you laughing if you are sick inside
I don't want your joy without your tears
Your love without your pride
I will sing the crumbling concrete and all our humble charms
If you crumble from the weight of it would you crumble in my arms?
Ba ba ba ba ba ba da da da da
Ba ba ba ba ba ba
Give me symmetry in my poetry
There's no choice in my voice so you know it's me
Is it okay to you if I say to you
that you're part of my heart when I play to you?
